Our pledge
1 tree per item purchased.
For every item purchased, we fund the planting of one tree.
A small commitment, built into every purchase. Each merchandise item in a successfully paid order counts, and Botanica covers the cost.
One item. One tree.
Three items in your order mean a commitment to fund three trees. There is nothing extra to add at checkout. Shipping charges, taxes and free replacements do not add trees.
How the promise takes root
Your purchase makes the commitment.
Successful payment fixes the number of trees we commit to fund, one for each item.
We arrange the funding.
We submit the commitment to our planting partner, usually within a few minutes. If a request is delayed, we keep the commitment until it is resolved.
Planting follows the project’s seasons.
Our partner bills monthly. Requests remain pending until payment, and small balances may roll forward to a later invoice. Physical planting follows each project’s local seasons and schedule.
Funding supports tree planting; it does not mean a tree has already been planted. We do not promise a planting date for an individual order.
A promise we keep after a return
Once payment succeeds, the original number of items remains our commitment, even if an order is later cancelled, returned, partially or fully refunded, or disputed. We do not subtract funded trees or claim to reverse planting. This does not change your refund rights. Unpaid, failed and abandoned checkouts create no tree commitment.
Clear about our impact
This is our promise to fund tree planting with every purchase, rather than a count of trees already planted. It is not a claim that our products, delivery or business are carbon neutral, or that tree planting offsets the emissions of your purchase.
